Write an article about you and your club in the Champions League to be in with a chance of becoming a Champions Journalist fan reporter. See your words in print – and potentially be there to watch your team in the semi-finals…
We’re looking for fan reporters from each of the 16 teams that have qualified for the knockout stage. Our favourite article will be printed in issue 14 of Champions Journal, with the rest appearing on the website. And if you’re one of the winners, we’ll also ask you to report back on your team for Champions Journal for as long as they stay in the competition.

How to enter
To be in with a chance of winning, write us a story of 400 words or less about your favourite team. You can choose what you want to write about but make it unique to you. Perhaps you want to tell us why you began supporting your team, or their most memorable match you’ve seen live. Maybe it’s memories of a favourite player, the atmosphere in the ground on a Champions League night or simply what sets your team apart from all the others in Europe.
It could be your matchday routine: where you meet friends before the game, where you eat or have a drink and when you get to the ground. Maybe you want to write about the best chant, your all-time favourite kit or the greatest goal you've seen one of your players score in this storied competition. What we don't want is a straight match report or a piece about why your team are the best; what we do want is whatever catches your imagination. Go beyond the 90 minutes. Deadline: Send us your entry by 23:59 CET on 27 January 2023.
