FIFA 22 Playlist

CJ staffer (and avid gamer) Shelby Paddison with her top tunes from the latest soundtrack

Issue 09

1. Talk about it by Jungle

Oh, we’re definitely talking about it. Has the nostalgia element of the early 2000s with the buoyancy of a modern FIFA game.

2. Feet don't fail me now by Joy Crookes

This provides those end-of-work-start-of-FIFA vibes. Socks off, curtains shut and a bit of career mode – the only way I’ll ever see my team Tottenham lift the Champions League?

3. Summer Night by Garden City Movement (ft Lola Marsh)

EA knew what they were doing putting so many funky, chilled songs into a game that has the potential to fill you with rage. This is my favourite of those.

4. Skeletons by Easy Life

I mean it in a good way when I say that some songs were born to make it onto a FIFA soundtrack. The energy is low key as the song is led by the vocals, but the bassline carries you through nicely.

5. The mission by Bakar

My mission is to one day be able to listen to one of these songs without excitedly declaring, “This is on the FIFA soundtrack!” This is stripped-back pop to dance to.
